Your favorite things about AE21 are:
Mrs. Bahnsen began working with AE21 in 2002, shortly after she graduated from the University of Washington with a Masters in Education (Educational Technology). She remains amazed and grateful that God “worked in mysterious ways” to bring her to this program. Inspired by her high school English teacher and certain college professors, Mrs. Bahnsen succumbed to the lure of English studies at Walla Walla College , graduating in 1986. In addition to her current work of curriculum development and on-line teaching, Mrs. Bahnsen spent more than 15 years in ‘brick and mortar' classrooms teaching students Speech Communication, History and variations of English studies. She has worked in private and public schools, as a 7th and 8th grade teacher, an attendance coordinator, a special events assistant, a recruiter, and an assistance girls dean. Probably because she grew up in Canada and had to travel long distances, she enjoys planning trips to various parts of the United States and the British Isles (and beyond!). When she's not at the computer, Mrs. Bahnsen enjoys her family, cooking, reading and sleeping. She lives with her husband, 2 kids, 2 cats, and 1 dog in the shadow of Mount Rainier in Auburn , Washington .
